Our prediction for this Primera Division match

Granada and Getafe face each other at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Sunday’s program. Granada have been performing above expectations in the 2019/20 season, but, as things stand now, they are unlikely to book their place in European competitions. Los Azulones, on the other hand, are eyeing a spot in the Champions League, and we are positive that they will go for a victory in Sunday’s football match.

Getafe failed to turn their dominance into goals in a goalless draw with Celta Vigo, but we believe that they are going to beat Granada on Matchday 28. Even though midfielder Mauro Arambarri is sidelined through suspension, we are tempted to put our money on the Champions League-chasing side. When the two teams met in the suburbs of Madrid earlier this term Getafe defeated Granada 3-1.

HIGHLIGHTED PLAYER (RUI SILVA)

Born on the 7th of February, 1994, Rui Silva is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Granada in LaLiga. The Maia born started his football journey playing Futsal before eventually joining the youth setup at Maia FC in 2006. After six years of development, he got recruited by C.D Nacional and signed a professional contract with the club in 2012.

Two years later, on the 26th of January, 2014, he made his professional debut in a Portuguese Super Cup group game against Leixoes SC and kept a clean sheet. The 6ft 3-inch tall goalkeeper went on to make over 50 appearances for the club before leaving for Spain in 2017 to join his current club Granada FC on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

Additionally, the 25-year-old has represented Portugal at the youth level, winning his standalone cap for its under-21 team in a friendly against England on the 13th of November, 2014.

HIGHLIGHTED TEAM (GETAFE)

Getafe Club de Futbol is a Spanish football club from the suburb of Madrid. The club hosts its home games in the Coliseum Alfonso Perez which holds a capacity of 17 7000 seats. The club managed to reach the Primera Division in 2004. The main club colors are blue and red. The fans of Getafe gave the club the nickname Azulones or Geta.

The biggest succes of Getafe was in the season 2006/2007 where the club reached the final of the Copa del Rey which they lost 1-0 against Sevilla FC. Getafe CF played in the UEFA Cup once in 2007 where they end in the quarter finals after playing against Bayern Munich.

Known players that played for Getafe in their football career are: David Silva, Raul Albiol, Aragones and Daniel Guiza.
